Great care is taken by the vendors to make all information held secure including using Secure Socket Layer (SSL 128Bit) security for credit card information in online purchases. The relevant Security certification is available on request or on www.hampers.com on the 'privacy and security' page.
The information we collect and how we use it
When you buy from our site, we need to know your name and email address and street address, telephone number, and your debit/credit card details. We gather this information to allow us to process your registration, open an account for you and facilitate the purchase procedure. The relevant information is then used to maximise the effectiveness of our services, and to increase the speed with which transactions are conducted.
We will not provide any information about you to third parties. (Action tags are used to monitor the sales data). However we would like to send you the occasional email informing you of our special offers. We promise not to send you more than 12 of these emails a year.

How we protect your information
We have put in place various security procedures to safeguard your personal information, including secure server software (SSL)* for encryption of your credit card information, and digital server identity technology to ensure that your connection to hampers.com is secure. Firewalls are used to block unauthorised traffic to our servers. The actual servers are securely located and accessible only by authorised personnel.
