River Cottage and Stroud Brewery: A gift for change

Our friends at Stroud Brewery are on a mission to make outstanding beer without damaging the planet. You see, responsibly farmed beer supports wildlife on farms, captures more carbon in the soil, improves water cycles and leaves less chemical residue on our food.

They’ve teamed up with Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall’s River Cottage to produce intriguing ales which inspire change. The trio of organic beers takes the drinker on a delicious, refreshing taste adventure, with three botanical cousins: the aromatic hop, the nutty hemp, and the zesty nettle.

The hampers.com team is delighted to be partnering with River Cottage and Stroud Brewery, to create an exclusive hamper featuring these special beers. We’ve hand-picked a selection of smashing savoury snacks and treats to accompany them, creating a gift hamper that beer lovers, nature lovers and foodies alike will relish!

The ideal birthday present or thank you gift, the River Cottage Beer Hamper is presented in a hampers.com signature large gift box.

The Stroud Brewery Story

Stroud Brewery was established in 2006. Initially the brewery was a passion project for founder Greg Pilley; an adventurer, environmentalist and beer lover. His purpose was simply to make great tasting beers for the local community whilst being the change he wanted to see in the business world.

Today Stroud Brewery is a thriving enterprise, and their tap room has become one of Stroud’s cherished local landmarks. They make great tasting, ethical and organic beer and create welcoming, fun social spaces.
