The Indian Spice Tin

 

The star of this hamper has to be the collection of Great Taste award-winning artisan Indian spices from our new supplier, Spice Kitchen.

Spice Kitchen is a multi-award-winning producer of beautiful spice tins and other spice gifts. They are passionate about flavour and authentic cooking, as well as giving back. They sponsor the Karma Curry Movement, who work to tackle human trafficking in India and, also, donate to The Whitechapel Centre - a homeless and housing charity local to them, in the UK.

The spice tin itself features a wonderful collection of nine different spices to offer the ultimate Indian cooking experience. The spices have been carefully chosen to offer your gift recipient a wide variety of recipes and a broad range of flavours when mixed. Mango and Chilli Chutney

 

Firstly, there is a jar of mango and chilli chutney from Tracklements – an essential accompaniment to many curry dishes and Indian starters.

Tracklements were established in 1970 and are recognised as the introduction of wholegrain mustard and wider varieties of flavoured jellies into the UK, and now many flavours of chutney too, including mango.

Despite Tracklements' popularity and growth, everything is still made by hand, in small batches, to traditional recipes. Their products taste as good as, if not better than, the very best homemade versions because they use only top-quality ingredients, carefully selected for their better taste.

Tandoor Chilli Crisps

 

As a little starter or essential snack whilst cooking, we have also included a bag of Tandoor Chilli Crisps from Howdah, tantalizingly tasty vegan snacks made from natural ingredients.

Based in Warrington, Howdah as a company offers a ‘give back as you snack' incentive, through which they empower the education of children by providing a school meal for a child in need, for every packet bought.  

These ancient grain chips have a zesty taste and are utterly delicious.

Three Craft Beers

 

For dad to enjoy during the preparation and whilst eating his latest curry creation and Indian feast, this Father’s Day hamper also includes three bottles of beer from Freedom Brewery.

All of Freedom’s beers are naturally carbonated and unpasteurised. They are fermented at low temperatures and all of their processes are chosen to protect the delicate flavours and bring out the best in each beer. The beers are also 100% vegan certified.
