Based in London, founders of Pimentae, Alice and Wynter, were familiar with a dismissive reaction to tequila and its association with ‘shot fuelled culture’ within the UK.
Their mission when setting up their business was to change this view, and instead “showcase the magic tequila has, when balanced correctly.”.
In addition to showcasing sensational drinks, intended to be savoured, sustainability is a core part of Pimentae’s vision. We love when our makers and producers have values that align with ours when it comes to protecting people, the planet and communities.
Pimentae strive to act in an ethical and responsible way, as well as striving to be as environmentally sustainable as possible. They too wish to become B-Corp certified company this year, and all of their products are fully recyclable, as well as being plastic free.
In addition, 1% of Pimentae's monthly revenue is donated to charity. S.A.C.R.E.D. - a not-for-profit organisation that helps improve the lives of the local people, and the environment, in rural Mexican communities.

Specifically, Pimentae are proud partners of Casa Maestri, a family-run distillery in Mexico. Established in 1951, it boasts “the best agave fields”. Thanks to dedication, tradition, quality, and honesty, they are recognised as one of the best tequila artisans.
