The complementary bottle of red wine not only brings out the best flavours in the cheese but also goes perfectly with the additional nibbles of stuffed olives, spiced salami and truffle crisps.

A winter wonderland of wonderful delights

Our special Christmas suppliers

We are delighted to have contributions from a number of our wonderful suppliers, in this specially curated Christmas Eve hamper. Let us tell you more about each of the amazing products all inspired by a 'cosy winter evening in'.

You’ll find crackers from both Island Bakery and Miller's Toast.

The Island Bakery is a sustainable business where everything is made on the Isle of Mull in Scotland. Their onion and thyme cheese biscuits are really decadent and absolutely delicious.

Your special gift recipient of the Christmas Eve Nibbles hamper also has the choice of Miller's Toast crackers. These Cranberry & Raisin Toasts are slim and ultra-crispy fruity toasts packed with dried fruits, nuts and seeds. Baked by hand by Artisan Biscuits in Derbyshire using only top quality, natural ingredients.

And then for the cheese connoisseurs, we have chosen, not one, but two truckles from the award-winning Snowdonia Cheese Company and family Lincolnshire business- Mouse House.

The blue wax-coated Rockstar is their first ever vintage cave-aged Cheddar, matured in Welsh slate caverns in the heart of Snowdonia. The Mouse House purple wax-coated cheese is a  smooth, creamy cheddar with caramelised onion chutney running through it. This is one of their most popular flavours and for a good reason!

“Duck rillette?”, we hear you ask. It’s a delicious rustic pate – made with hand-reared pork from a farm in Cornwall. Learn more about the Cornish Charcuterie, run by husband and wife team, Richard and Fionagh Harding.

We have also included Dorset Warmer Salami, from English charcuterie, and Capreolus Fine Foods (currently, the only charcuterie direct seller and producer in Borough Market). The salami is a truly magnificent nibble on its own or adds to a delicious hand baked cracker.

Chutney & olives

Your lucky recipient (or you and your partner – what’s wrong with a bit of self-indulgence after all?), will also findMrs Bridges' special recipe Christmas chutney  to enhance every ‘cheese and biscuit’ bite, plus red pepper stuffed olives from Olives et al,

And yet...there are still even more nibbles to try...

You can’t have proper Christmas Eve nibbles without some top-quality, British-made crisps…and the English truffle potato crisps included in this hamper, from Made For Drink, are exquisite.

Based in Maidenhead, Made for Drink produces a range of award-winning crisps. They are also carbon neutral and a partner of English Heritage. These crisps really are special.

And if the crisps are ‘made for drink’, then it’s important to have the most delicious red wine to enjoy them with.

Gauchezco is a really special wine producer from Mendoza in Argentina – learn more about the cowboys and their vineyard here.

The 100% Malbec included in the Christmas Eve Nibbles hamper is a full-bodied red wine, known for its plump, dark fruit flavours and smoky finish. It really does draw out the flavours in the cheese, crackers, olives and more.
