GIVING BACK

bringing joy

hampers.com is on a mission to be a brand which places emphasis on purpose, not purely on profitability.

Through supporting our charity partner, and being an active member of our local Oxfordshire community, we endeavour to give our time, resources, and funds as forces for good.

Our charity partner

So many exceptional charities exist and do wonderful work, but we were keen to select a charity which would offer the opportunity to create a true, long-term partnership, where we can make a real difference.

Oxfordshire Mind was the perfect fit in terms of both Oxfordshire locality, and alignment of values with our shared vision for mental health awareness. We are building meaningful ways to raise funds for the charity, including sponsored events, volunteer days and hamper sales. We’re creating a brand-new Wellbeing gift hamper inspired by the charity, which will include a selection of quality products designed to promote relaxation, mindfulness, and overall well-being. A percentage of these profits will go to Oxfordshire Mind.

A committee has been created at hampers.com HQ, Milton Park, where staff from our offices and warehouses have joined together to devise plans to support Oxfordshire Mind. Our whole team is excited to bring these plans to life throughout 2024 and beyond!

About Oxfordshire Mind

Oxfordshire Mind is a local mental health charity dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing mental health challenges within Oxfordshire, as part of the nationwide Mind charity. They offer a wide range of services to promote mental well-being, support recovery, and reduce stigma around mental health issues. Their services include counselling, peer support, information and advice, and community-based programs designed to reduce isolation and foster resilience.

Oxfordshire Mind operates across the county, providing accessible support through various local hubs and outreach initiatives. The charity also engages in advocacy, working to influence local policies and raise awareness about mental health issues. They work with healthcare providers and volunteers to deliver comprehensive support tailored to the needs of the community.

Their vision is that everyone experiencing a mental health issue in Oxfordshire gets both support and respect and they won’t give up until this is achieved.

Our community

Food Banks

We are proud to say that we manage to keep our waste to a bare minimum. If we ever end up with excess stock that we are unable to use, we donate it directly to local food banks and homeless shelters to help our community in need, including the Oxford Food Bank and the Didcot Emergency Food Bank.

Last Christmas alone we donated 600kgs of excess food stock to the Oxford Food Bank, which we know will have made Christmas a little brighter for families and individuals in need.

Didcot Casual Girls Football Team

We are proud to sponsor girls football at Didcot Casuals Football Club, located just a couple of miles away from the hampers.com headquarters in Milton Park and running more than 20 youth girls and boys teams.
