Nick's journey into cheese-making began during his youth on the family estate. Inspired by the lush surroundings, Nick delved into the art of cheese-making and even became one of the first people in the UK to create cheese with sheep milk.
It's said that Nick's cheese-making journey took an unexpected turn when he broke his leg during a rugby match. His friends, eager to distract him from his woes, enrolled him in a cheesemaking course at Hindlip. And thus, the legacy of Croome was born!
Today, Croome continues to uphold its legacy of excellence and innovation, offering an exclusive range of award-winning cheeses that pay homage to their roots.
